Heard from People Who've Done the Work
Honest accounts from learners who've worked through Neuronest tracks — what they found useful, what challenged them, and where they landed.
Back to HomeWhat Learners Say
"I'd tried two other online courses before this one and dropped both around week three because I couldn't follow the logic of what we were doing. The Starter Course here was the first time I finished something and felt like I actually understood it, not just that I'd watched enough videos."
Nattapong Phromma
Bangkok, Thailand · Track 1 · June 2025
"The code review process was the thing I found most useful. My mentor didn't just say 'this is wrong' — she explained what the cleaner approach would be and why it matters at scale. That kind of feedback changed how I write code generally, not just for the assignments."
Siriporn Wanarat
Chiang Mai, Thailand · Track 2 · May 2025
"I enrolled in the Mentorship Program because I had a specific project in mind but no idea how to approach it properly. Working with my mentor to scope it out, then building it in stages — that structure saved me from a lot of wasted time going in circles on my own."
Aditya Krishnan
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia · Track 3 · April 2025
"What I appreciated most was that nobody oversold what finishing the course would mean. I came in wanting to understand neural networks better, and that's what I got. No false promises — just a well-organised course and a mentor who knew the material thoroughly."
Pimchanok Teerasak
Chiang Rai, Thailand · Track 2 · May 2025
"I study in the evenings after work. The self-paced structure meant I could take two weeks when things got busy and come back without feeling like I'd missed something or fallen behind. The community was active enough that questions I posted got answered within a day or so."
Rattanakul Lertpanya
Phuket, Thailand · Track 1 · June 2025
"I'm based in Singapore and found Neuronest through a recommendation in a data community I follow. The Thai Baht pricing was straightforward and the timezone worked fine for the mentor sessions. If you want to work on something real rather than just complete modules, the Mentorship track is worth it."

Learning Journeys in Detail
No Data Background, Changing Roles
Chawalit worked in logistics operations and wanted to move into a more analytical direction. He'd tried reading textbooks and watching free videos but kept running into terminology that assumed knowledge he didn't have.
Track 1, Then Track 2
He began with the Starter Course and took about 10 weeks, working in evenings. He then joined the Neural Networks track, where a mentor reviewed his code on each project. The transition felt natural — no large conceptual gaps to jump across.
Built Something He Could Explain
After Track 2, Chawalit had built three projects he could walk through in detail — including a model to forecast demand patterns for common logistics routes. He now talks more clearly about data work in his current role.
"I didn't expect the two tracks to flow so naturally into each other. It felt like one long course rather than two separate things."
Chawalit Suksawat · Bangkok
Research Background, No Applied Experience
Nilubon had studied statistics at university but had never worked with machine learning libraries or built a model from scratch. The gap between theory and implementation was the issue.
Skipped to Track 2, Mentorship Added
After a short conversation with the Neuronest team, she was pointed directly to Track 2, bypassing the Starter Course given her background. Midway through, she switched to the Mentorship Program to work on a specific text classification project.
Completed a Documented ML Project
Her text classification model was scoped, built, tested, and documented over four months with regular mentor input. She describes it as the first project where the documentation matches the thinking that went into it.
"My mentor asked questions that made me think harder about my design choices. That's exactly what I needed — not answers, but better questions."
